Description
Surface preparation: The surface should be even, clean, dry and stable. Fresh plasters can be painted after 4 weeks following the application. Prime uneven or highly absorbent substrates with the PRIMACOL primer emulsion. If the surface is not uniform, use the PRIMACOL primer paint to balance the colour. Careful preparation of surface will ensure an optimum effect of painting. Prior to any work, protect all surfaces that are not to be painted.
Painting: Paint should be applied at a room and substrate temperature between 5-25 °C. Mix the paint thoroughly before use. For best results, use a short to medium haired roller. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with max. 5% water. Apply the paint generously on the roller and spread the paint evenly on the surface. Join subsequent sections being painted “wet on wet”. Finish painting every section of the surface by moving the roller always in the same direction. Do not paint with a semi-dry roller. Do not interrupt painting or make spot patches. Paint the ceiling in the direction of light, starting from the window side and keep moving towards the centre of the room. Recoat when the previous layer has dried. The paint obtains its full performance (washability) after 28 days.
During and after your painting job, ventilate the room until the odour has gone. Clean tools in water. For environmental reasons, do not dispose of paint residues into the sewer system and do not dispose of together with household waste.
Storage: Protect from frost. Store in the tight container that is not exposed to direct sunlight, within a temperature range of 5 °C to 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
