HELP! renovation paint

The product is designed for painting concrete, wooden and wood-based surfaces located outdoors. It decorates and protects, to create a very durable and flexible coating that is resistant to weather, mould and moisture. It can also be used on platform and bridge elements located near water (without permanent contact with water).

Description

Instructions for use: Paint only at ambient and substrate temperatures above 10 °C and humidity below 70%. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply with a brush or roller. Collect a generous amount of paint on the roller to avoid painting with a dry roller. Apply a thick layer (recommended target coating thickness after drying should be approx. 1 mm). Do not stop painting when started. Do not make any corrections when the coating is dried. Apply another coat of paint after the previous one has dried (approx. 5 h). It is recommended to apply 2 layers. The total drying time is approx. 24 hours. Low temperature and high air humidity extend the drying time. The paint will obtain its full performance (resistance) after approx. 2 weeks, and therefore it is recommended to avoid intensive use of the surface for at least a few days after painting.

In order to avoid differences in shade, it is advisable to use paints with the same batch number when painting the entire surface. For different batch numbers, it is advisable to mix them together.
Paint dirt is difficult to remove, so it is recommended to wear working clothes. When finished, clean your tools with water.

Substrate preparation: The substrate should be clean, dry, degreased and stable. Remove residues of adhesive paints and other flaking-off coatings. Patch surface holes with a suitable filler. Absorptive substrates should be covered with a priming emulsion, e.g. Primacol Primagrunt. Smooth or less absorbent substrates must be made matted with abrasive paper. Wooden elements should be sanded, dusted and any surface holes should be repaired with a filler. Algae and lichens should be neutralised with appropriate agents (e.g. Primacol Antygrzyb) and then removed with a brush, rinsed and dried. For non-impregnated wood surfaces, impregnate the wood with a clear biocidal agent.

The surfaces should be profiled in such a way as to prevent the accumulation of water. The paint is not intended for permanent contact with water.

Storage: Store the paint within a temperature range of 5 °C to 30 °C, in dry area and in the original, tight container. Protect from direct sunlight. If the container is opened, the shelf life of the product may be reduced.
